1G EPROM ECU

Ok, so I finally pulled the ecu and its been opened and duct taped back together. It's not socketed but how would I know if anything else has been changed/replaced? I did find a PC data port tapped into the obd 1 if that helps. The cable was run to the side of the drivers seat so I can only assume it was for some running or data logging?

Also if a local had a chipped ECMlink eprom ecu from a 1990 would/will it work in my 1991?

yes a 90 eprom ecu will work in your 91

and i would just buy an eprom ecu that isnt duct taped together, its hard to tell what people have done to it or anything at all.

To use a 90 ECU you have to swap pins 6 & 14 on the wiring harness.
