1g engine flushing ?

Hi my name is Christian Im new to the the site & I need some guidance on my build. I bought a 1992 eagle talon tsi, owner before me only ever ran hose water as coolant never used anti freeze. So the system is a little rusty, I've flushed with water but there is still rust through out the whole system
And was wanting to know can I use a system flush on it ? So I was going to run the flush with water and really get the system clean. The turbo is coolant and oil cooled so idk if I can or not some help would be much appreciated Thank you

If it has lived on water alone for any decent period of time you can bet there is a heavy layer of scale that a style bought coolant system flush won't even begin to budge.

CLR works and also a chemical called evapo rust ^^ in a 5 gallon bucket. It's reusable until it turns black I think and works like a charm. Hope this helps.

Ive used the prestone radiator flush a few times with decent results

which one did you use for the ones in the pic's..CLR? OR EVAPO RUST?

@SGT_talon91 idk if you are plan on doing the flush/clean out with engine assembled Or not but I WOULD DOUBLE CHECK Application instructions for EVPORUST to see if you can use it and if pushing it through the entire system is acceptable with product due to heat of engine etc.
