Yes I know "use the search button". I did search but did not come up with exactly what I was looking for.
I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Automatic and I am looking to get DSMlink. I was told I can use 'link v2.5. And since I see v2.5 being used in 1g's I asked a friend of mine if I can use an already set up 1g ECU in my 2g (setup=ready to be put into the car). Now from the information I found when searching, what I took away from it is I need to redo something with the wiring to the ECU's connector for the 1g ECU to work in a 2g. And also besides that, if I just randomly pick up any 1g ECU, will it work with the 2g's Automatic trans or do I need to specifically get a ECU out of an Automatic 1g?
So I guess you could say my question is; What does it take to use a 1g ECU in a 2g?
I would rather be informed so I know EXACTLY what I'm doing or need to do so I do not screw anything up.
(Also, if you do not understand what I am asking, please ask exactly what you are not understanding so I can explain what my question(s) is/are.)
Thanks.
