ECMlink 1G DSMLink v2.5 questions

OK im about to recive my ecu with v2.5 that i purchased from a member , im gettin both cables, but he is telling me i need to download the keyway and some drivers from tripplite.com. im just new to v2.5 i used to have v3.

anything else i need to do to be able to use it?

Tripplite.com is where you download the drivers for your serial to USB converter. You more than likely have a Keyspan (brand name). I have had v2.5 on both of my DSMs before, and have used the Keyspan serial to USB adapter on both.

yessir there you go, it was the drivers i just downloaded..he is sending me the ecu with link tomorrow..i was told since i downloded the drivers that all i need to do now is when the ecu get here ill just plug it and plug the cables and be good to go right i donthave to do anything else with the drivers?

Just the application itself to the computer you will be using to tune

well i have v3 installed on the laptop thats what i plan to use, causei heard you could use v3 software with v2.5 ofcurse i will only get acess to v2.5 functions right??
