1G DSMLINK connection problems

Hey so ive recently installed LinkV3 and a few other mods. Problem is when I go to set up a connection on link it says no response received, over and over until eventually it starts saying " Reading Extended Setup Record (v1) " Briefly connects( establishes connection) Then back to no response received. Ive established a com port (com3) tried all my usb ports and the car CAN start but stumbles and dies. Ive read and searched on varies issues, but none that quite resembled this. (I do NOT have access to the ecmfourms at this time, working on it)

Installed mod include 3"gm maf + link cable, manifold and turbo back exhaust, and aem tru boost.

Any and all help/ trouble shooting ideas will help

did u try checking to make sure everything was update on ## v3 from the ecut website? i belive my had the same problem and i had to update a thing or 2 but that was almost a yr ago so i cant really remember.

Also verify that the cables and the car-side port are, in fact, good.

Do you have the supported adapter cable?

Well I redownloaded all the software/updates/drivers, checked the pins for play, first try this morning it fully connects

Now the fun part begins
