how to install knock sensor without having it to tight or to loose? I keep seeing that if you tighten it too much You will get phantom knock. What’s the right way to do it

From what I've read in other threads, you need to hand tighten it as much as possible and then give it a slight turn with a wrench, so that it doesn't get loose over time.
I'll be changing mine the coming week and I'll try to do it this way.

Unless you take the intake manifold off, I can't imagine getting a torque wrench in there to get it exactly to the spec of 16ft-lb. It would also need to be an open-end torque wrench, or you'll have to hack a 24mm socket so that it resembles an O2 sensor socket tool in order to make room for the wire.
