i get my car running finally and go for a drive. At The first stop sign she dies. So I start it back up, starts rich so I took it back to the garage and opened up link. Set base timing, set the biss screw, and set the tps. Take it for a drive again she’s fine, then I come to a stop, it try’s to bog so I feathered the gas a bit to keep it running. Then the rpms randomly drop between 450-500 and the oil pressure light was on from it idling so low so I shut it off. Wait a bit and start it back up and it’s idling normal again. This happened a couple times. And almost every stop it bogged/died, unless I was under like 1700 rpms while driving. My bov is recirculated. Could this be a maf issue or and iac issue? Iac is new and my ecu had just been rebuilt by ecmtuning. I have dsmlink v3, 2g maf, rc550s. any input would be appreciated.

What's your fuel pressure at? Do you have your injector scaling right? Have you performed a BLT?

Only thing I can think is too much fuel, or a clutch issue when depressed adding drag and killing the engine. When you stop are you on the clutch or in neutral?

Fuel pressure is at 37psi while idling. The clutch is new and fully bled. I adjusted the rod for the clutch master. This issue is new right after I did the clutch rpms would drop but always come back up. I had a wiring issue with the ptu that had the car down for a while. But after I fixed it now it’s doing this. It’s getting all the right fuel at cruise and wot. it just like it dumps fuel in right when you let off the gas

What are the AFR's when this happens? Pig rich or super lean??? Have you followed one of your logs when this happens, tracking it in the fuel table? I would be doing those and adjusting as needed when you see if spike rich or lean, make an adjustment to it. You can always change it back if it doesn't help.

It’s rich like 9.0. And I know I don’t have a vc leak it’s been smoke tested and sits at -19hg at idle. I was gonna do that yesterday but I only have storage insurance and there were quite a few cops out yesterday, so I just stopped. What if it is the iac or just a the bov not actuating? Would I have same issues or does this sound like something that can be fixed solely by tuning? I was gonna test the iac tonight when i get off work.

Most of the time these idle issue are biss/isc related. You said you set the biss screw but did you set it correctly ;). Check for air leaks properly and set your idle stop switch, throttle cable, tps and then biss screw. All these need to be correct to have a consistent car.

It's very possible it's a misadjustment. Mine still isn't perfect after fiddling with it for years. Rich after off throttle seems like an injector setting, but idle settings may be masking it.

How about MAF and TPS data during the incident?

Too much tip in??

I’ll post a log today or tomorrow. I’ve been really busy with work and stuff but I’ll get it by the end of the weekend. My coasting fc is also really high at like 1000 could that be part of the issue?
