1G Door Hinge Death

so i'm driving to work.. i get out and all i hear is metal on metal??? i open the door a little further and hear it again.. so i slip out of my door at the least amount i could slip through.. i look over the top of my window and almost did-

so i examine what happened... my door is sagging, makign it hit the fender when it goes in.... i'm f*ckin pissed... gotta get this fixed ASAP! :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

so i close the door and see at where it meets the roofline there about a 1cm gap.. and i've always wondered why my door was hard to open and close and why sometime it would kinda rub on the render ever so lightly... and now it just went to sh!t... so heres the pics.. apint chipped and bent in fender... goddamn stupid little things!

Thats horrid man, I get a loud popping noise when I open my door, can't figure out why its doing it. My side skirt on the driver side is starting to sage where the symbol is.

i doubt my hinges on my talon are the only ones that crapped out like this.. anyone else? seems like something that could happen to most of them... how and why does this happen? i've owned a lot of older cars especially with high miles and never had to deal with this sh!t!

Oh good, now I have something else to look forward to. the popping noise is loud. It sounds almost like if there were a dent in the body and you pop it back out.

That sucks man. The same sh*t is happening to mine also, my door is hanging, but it's just kinda peeling the sider skirt up. I am going to fix it soon-hopfully., But you arn't the only one this is happening to. If you count me.:thumbdown

not as bad... but the door goes inside the fender like it should... but the molding and side skirt catch on the fender and go on the outside! so those are peeling of.. and both my front fenders look about the same as above so its all gettoed out and has crappy looking front fenders... but i guess this is what i get for buying a neglected abused its whole life for a grand huh? only 104k miles... still.. looks like a shitbox now with the front all messed up
