General 1G Diagnostic port problems?

I am having some major problems getting my datalogger to work on my galant vr4. My logger was working fine up until a few days ago, the other day I went out and it worked for about 10 seconds then quit. I haven't been able to get it to work since. I have tried two different cables and I know both of them work. What should I check? I looked at the back of the port and everything was connected well??? This is really frustrating me because I want to get the car tuned ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

on a friends dsmlink we had to configure the computer to the data port im not sure if or how you would do it with a logger but its worth a shot. also you should check out galantvr4.org stop by and say hi they might be able to help you there if no one can help you here(which i doubt)
