Resolved 1g dash auto vs manual

Hopefully this is a quick and simple question. I have my dash out to do my heater core and decided to also replace it with one in better shape.

I was curious if the wiring in the dashes is different from manuals to autos, and turbos to non turbos? Just seeing if i might have to pull the harness out of my old dash before i put the new one in.

Will not matter if you’re just swapping the dash. They’re all the same

I’ve just purchased a new dash, and am considering the VIN tag. I’m not yet sure if I will just swap the cover, or use the new part entirely, but having two VINs on one car could lead to an awkward discussion with Johnny Five—O.
