What all do i need besides my basic wrenches ,sockets, jackstands, tape anf baggies.
I have the service manual.
Im looking at buying a hydralic jack ( or 2?)

This is my 1st time pulling the tranny on this car, so if something will make it easier and cost a bit more. Id rather go that direction.

You'll need a jack and some jackstands. and besides the normal sockets and wrenches, you'll need the really big socket to get the nut off the outer end of the cv shaft. Pry bars and a BFH always come in handy. A tourque wrench for re-assembly and clutch alignment tool.

This is an AWD walk through, the FWD is easier.

And don't forget to get your flywheel resurfaced and make sure you check the step height.

You don't have to take off the axle nut, If you take off the two suspension bolts on the spindle(two bolts holding shock to spindle) and push down on the spindle and lower suspension arm. It's easy and how I do all off my tranny drops.
