My 1G burns alot of oil; someone told me it was just a thing that all of the eclipses and talons did. To let you know how much it uses, I recently drove about 330 miles, and when I got to my destination, the oil on the dipstick hardly even registered. There are never puddles of oil under my car, and I don't see anywhere under the hood where it is spraying.

All turbo motors have this oil (LOOSEING) problem. What it is is the valve guides and the valve seals seeping oil into the combustion chamber and also the turbo seals and bearings go bad and need to be replaced. I had the same situation with mine using 1/2 quart mobil 1 10/30 a week and thouhgt WTF? Were was it going? Talked it over with many DSMers on this board about the problem.
You are going to need to pull the head off and have it refreshed and while your at it throw a new 16g on it. I took apart my 14b with 103k in it and the seals were all hard as rocks but the bearings and shaft looked great.
