1g bov / turbo problems?

i just put intercooler piping and a 1g bov on my stock 2g w/ t25. Its making a squeaking sound...does this mean anything? Ive heard others that sound like a whooshing sound. Its recirculated as well.

That squeaking sound could be a boost leak. Check to make sure you hooked it up so that there can be no leaks.

An intake leak test couldn't hurt.

Does the car have the stock airbox still? The cars I have heard with the stock airbox sounded squeaky when the bov released.

i dont have the stock intake...why would a boost leak sound like that at release...?

Do you mean the little squeek half a second after you release the throttle? If so, it's normal. Some 1g BOV's are know to do that.

Is the squeaking coming when you are building boost or after you let off the throttle?
