1g fuel problems and bov question?

Hey guys I recently had a intercooler coupler blow off and I replaced it but now it feels like It hesitates to get into boost as if not having enough fuel or air. There are no boost leaks.

Next i was wondering how to add fuel with a safc 1. I'm running 13-14 psi and was wondering if i need to add fuel at those rpms?

Lastly, I heard a jetta last night driving and even if he was only going like 10 miles per hour you coul hear his blow off valve. Is it the bov spring or what?

I would not recommend turning with a SAFC unless you have a wideband AF gauge. Here is a link to a website with explanation on install and turning with a SAFC.

The BOV you heard was probably vented to the air… Although different BOV do have different sounds.

get a AFPR and you can adjust the base fuel, as for the jetta, its a 1.8T they have small turbo and since the engine displacement is a 1.8 litre the turbo spools way faster and you can hear the BOV even if the car is going slow
