Resolved 1G AWD manual transmission part number?

What is the name of the transmission in the 1g gsx? an example, the GM tranny 4L60. I am trying to get a service manual and I need this info. Also, where can I get parts for this tranny? Any info on mods to the tranny?

I don't know the part number but when I had mine rebuilt I got the parts from Jacks Transmissions LLC — Welcome You can also check the vfaq or the vendors section on here.

Most of it is Shepracing.com. He is pretty much the DSM trans guru. Not sure of the trans code, but common things are double synchro's and overall upgrades. Google John Shepard. Or look at the top for his banner to come across.
