Ok I know I'm beating a dead horse but I've been searching for a while and can't find a solid answer! The background info
1992 Tsi talon awd turbo 5 speed all stock 60k original miles. I live north of New York City so it gets cold in the winters. I recently bought my talon and want to change the fluid in the transmission transfer case and rear diff! I don't plan on running many mods for now but if I do won't be for a while and would be around the 250 hp mark. I've read everything from valvoline 90 weight with LSD addictive to redline heavy shock proof and a mixture in the trans. Can someone please give me a straight list for trans x case and rear diff. I also want to flush the coolant. 50/50 green mix from Prestone is what I'm commonly seeing. Any and all help is appreciated thank you in advance!!! Sorry for beating a dead horse

If your looking at redline fluids I'd recommend MT85 for the tran as its already a 50/50 mix of MT90 and MTL so no messing around mixing there. For t-case and diff I go redline light shock proof.
Lots of people prefer to run mitsu fluids as they've been proven to be the best. But its expensive stuff!
Transmission takes 2.4 quarts
T-case takes .4 quarts
Diff takes about .8 quarts

For your coolant swap stay away for the green coolant as after a time it eats HGs unless you add a deactivator every year it is I think. Go with the red coolant as its a non acidic or corrosive plus lasts 5 years instead of the green one which is 3. Win win man
Hope this helps.

Ok I'm a bit surprised about the coolant because I saw people saying stay away from dex cool and anything but green. And it seems a lot of people are saying redline just trying to find and solid suggestion!

Redlines just proven and for the price you can't go wrong. Mitsu fluid is better but its just very expensive so typically most people ( I'm one of them) take the cheaper route.
Green coolants being fased out, you won't find it in the new vehicles now. Solely as the green coolants a acidic and not maintenance free, where as the red is.

So coolant flush and switch to red coolant. Brand name? And redline pre mixed in trans and transfer case and the light weight or heavy weight shock proof?
