1G Automatic Turbo Problems?

I know this is probably under the search, but Im at school and headed back to St. Louis for the weekend and am looking for a quick answer.

I have 91 GSX with the 13b I guess it is instead of the 14b like the 5-speeds. My question is, how much different is it to install a B16G on my car? I have seen special kits made for the automatic, but that increases the price another 2-400 dollars. Just wondering if these kits were really necesssay or if I could just slap on a new turbo. Thanks

The bare minimum in parts you'll need to install a 14b or 16g into an Automatic are these:

Water return line turbo 1g 14b part number MD117764
Water line banjo bolt 1g manual turbo part number MF650114
you will also need some new srush washers.
These parts will total about $20.
All the other lines will mate up to a 16g. Just make sure you get all new gaskets wherever they are called for.

yeah just look on ebay, dsm trader, or go to a junk yard and try to find some stock 14b lines from a 5spd, they will work on a 16g. I had all lines except for the coolent return line so i just drilled it out larger but i dont know if i would do that on all of the lines. Oh yea dont forget to get the eyebolts also cause those are $10 at the dealership if you dont. You will be glad that you got the 13g off it is extremly tiny.
