flywheels are different, you have 6 bolt fwd, and AWD. Then you have 7 bolt fwd and awd.
All clutches and pressure plates are the same.
ok i understand the clutches and all are the same but are the space plates the same from 1g fwd to 1g awd and same for a 2g?
I recently purchased a 95 eagle talon tsi awd supposedly it has a gst 7 bolt motor with fewer miles in it kid said he put new clutch throw out and lightweight flywheel and new starter well the new starter just hits and grinds I'm thinking the side of the flywheel is where it look like it was hitting and he replaced slave and master cylinder and said it needed to be bled out did that have to numb start it acts like it won't go in first or second and reverse went to advance where he got clutch and throw out and the only keep fwd one in stock so I called the kid and he said it was in stock the day he got it so I think he put a fwd clutch and throw out bearing in a awd any feed back? Clutch plates and PP/TOB are the same between FWD/AWD. Just the flywheel's are different (FWD is bigger, more teeth)
