19s vs. 20s

i'm rollin on 18s right now and i love them. i think if you want 20s go for it!! i think it could look really good if you are careful when you pick which ones you are going to get

If you run 20s, you will have to buy a 225/15r20 tire. Not many ppl make them but they are available. You will also have to remember to have a mechanix shop change some values in your ecu's to control your speedometer so its accurate, thats what my brother (a mechanic) told me when I told him I want to go to 17's.

I run 19" Axis Se7en Mods with the maxis lip, I have a front/rear camber kit from RRE, and a decent shop to do allignments. I have no tire wear issues due to size or width of my rims.

Pics can be found in my profile, and if you guys want to flame me for not being "true to the DSM community" well then that is your option. I suppose it wouldnt be "true to the DSM community" for you guys not to flame any type of visual improvement to your car. I should take a bat to my car and get some bondo to fit in more. . . but that would take too much effort in a non fix-or-repair fashion, and should therefore be removed from consideration.

If you want rims, get them, if you want a body kit, get it, if you want a 97 blade razor to shave with, do it. I dont care. Just spend your money on what makes you happy, in 10 years ityou probably wont have the massive resources to fix these POS's anyway.

Speedo only needs to be changed if the rolling diameter changes... 17"s shouldnt be a problem...

If the kid wants 20's there's no ethical question involved. just, "will it fit"
I was considering the konig prophet 20's... id be taking out the inner fender lining and also doing airbags. They are only 7.5" wide so i suppose there will be no offset issues.
