I'm working on building my 420a motor but just don't have the money to do a big build yet. So I've been doing small things to the inside, like painting the air vents blue a long with the center console.

Delta is right, my 1g looked like it was falling apart no one ever expected it.

i have a rebuilt 420a sitting in my garage. it was rebuilt to oem spec. full 2.5 in exhaust header back. header and flex pipe are greddy. msd coil and wires, injen short ram intake. and many more parts i cant think of at the moment.

sk8rdude, my neon looked like a POS, not even the same ballpark as far as aesthetics go in comparison to an eclipse, it had the same motor(reverse mounted), maybe slightly lighter, but when people heard it spool I would smile for miles. Yeah, faster is better

if anything save your money and build the motor first then worry about how it looks (all go but with some show)

I just got my 99 RS last weak. i was thinking of starting off my build up with the internals its already got
Drilled rotors
Full suspension
KYB shocks lowering springs
Braided steel brake lines
APEXI full cat back
Front and rear strut bars
Trunk mount battery
Racing radiator mount fans
AEM Cams
AEM adjustable cam gears
AEM intake
Headers
should my next step be to start replacing internals such as pistons, rods, and rings?
