2G 1998 Eclipse Headlight issue

Hello!
I have a 1998 eclipse and to get headlights to turn on I have to keep the switch on turn signal pushed forward for 10 minutes before lights stay on if I hit a bump sometimes they shut off and I have to hold switch forward again to get them to engage. Also, if I used turn signal headlights will turn off again.

I have replacement part but I cannot get the panel off, can someone tell me what type of screw this is so I can buy the proper tool to remove it.

It’s just a normal Phillips heads screw driver. Nothing special about it.

I couldn’t get to loosen and for some reason it looked different so I didn’t want to force it.

You probably need a different size Wilson Phillips.

you can try tapping the end of the screwdriver handle while trying to unscrew it.

I personally prefer the Henry Phillips

You probably need a different size Wilson Phillips.
