Got around to repainting the engine bay on my GST in the factory R87 paint. Turned out relatively well. Also was able to restore the factory hood heat shield!

Hey everyone! Some good news! I have got my eclipse to the point where it can be daily driven for as long as it needs to be. I tuned it myself on the AEM Series 2 ecu and have had nothing but good results in the past year after sorting out many many problems. There have been very many sacrifices getting to this point on this car, and I am happy to say it needs near nothing at this point. It runs perfectly. I am going to be replying to this thread on the trips I have made so far, as well as upcoming plans and how I do maintenance to prepare the car for long drives! Stay tuned if you want to be surprised on where this car has been, and will go!
