No problem! Its a pretty tight clearance and Im pretty sure that i ordered a 1st gen lower hose, but if you think it might not be than I better take it back to the store so they can give me the right one. Other than those minor issues I need to figure out if I should be ordering a BOV that is a little more suitable for the boost I eventually want to run, Hopefully the crushed 1G should be ok for right now, although I know eventually I will need to replace it. Im in the process of trying to hook up the wideband from AEM and the rest of the guages from autometer, (cobalt series. Pretty much the only problem I am having is figuring out the wideband and what to connect my analog output (positive) and analog output (negative) to. It says hook those two to a datalogger, now would that mean pretty much the ECU since that is what I will be using to log my data throught ECMlink? Everything else seems self explanitory I tried reading on other posts but something just isnt clicking, maybe I am overthinking this install! please help! I plan on running the GM maf from V3 so I read on ecmtuning that will free up some wires for me but I just dont know what is positive or negative!

You're making excellent progress. Keep up the good work!

depending on your oil mods you may not want to feed a holset off the head most of us feed from the OFH.

I dont have the BS anymore, do you still recommend from the filter housing?

OK, now that I got the axle situation taken care of I'm getting a little antsy. I'm really starting to think of which break in oil to use, I was told 20-50 however I'm thinking that's a little thick for the first start and break in, On top of that I'm thinking that I really should throw on my 16G for the break in, unless you guys think it will be ok to run the Holset during break in.

Hey all, I'm in dire need of some help with tuning this vehicle, Ive never dealt with any tuning at all. I'm running too rich and the base idle needs set as well as the FPR, the injectors will need to be adjusted as I have no idea how to operate ECMlink yet, right now I have the Holset off of the car while I get the engine broken in but before I do that I need to get it running properly. the injectors are 1150's and I need to know how to adjust them through link. Here is the log that I took for a short period of time, can anyone tell me what you see and point me in the right direction?

btw- 255 pump, with 1150 injectors, evo3-16G

im feeding my Holset from the oil filter housing and its just fine i bought the instal kit from extremePSI

I need help reading my logs guys, not where to feed the holset which I'm not using at the moment.

Nice looking setup. Mind if I ask what you did about the cross member at the turbo outlet and the radiator hose? I saw ya speaking of them but didn't see any results/solutions to the situation you had there so was just curious. Good luck with the build.

And yeah, check out all the info over at the ECMlink for the tuning part. Better place to get what you need as far as that goes.

Can you post the build up to this point in a blog entry so it's easier to follow along? If you need to start a thread to ask questions on how to proceed in a build, that's perfectly okay. But if you're posting pics and information to show your progress, it's much easier for us to follow along in a blog entry so we don't have to read all the feedback replies mixed in with your updates. Please refer people to the blog for the updates instead of posting them in the thread where you're getting feedback. Thanks.

No problem at all, thanks for the advise and I will post a blog when I get a chance, work has been really crazy the past 3 weeks!
