1997 gst price

Hello, I have recently come across a silver 97 gst that is a repo in the local area with 98k miles and 5spd and they are only asking 4000 for it. I think that is a good price and want to get it, but should i be worried about anything because I have never dealt with a repo'ed car before or at least to the best of my knowledge?

A repo is usually a car that was in good running order. It is just that someone decided they were better off to NOT PAY for the lean that was taken on the automobile.

98k silver GS-T for $4,000 sounds good.

thanks for the help dsm'ers also when I go look under the hood I have read that you should check for shaft play on the turbo by taking off the intake and try to move the turbo "fins" and if they move that the turbo is about to go correct?

if the body is in perfect shape, get it. just dont plan on keeping that motor for too long :x

4 grand is a killer deal for a 1997, I paid 6K (overpriced) a year ago for a 95 talon.

Yes, get it that is a very great deal. My 97 gst sold 3 months ago for $8k (really low miles) and im looking at 95 gst's for $4,000 hell if you dont want to keep the car buy it and turn it around for profit.
