1997 GST Problems

I just purchased a 1997 GST.It has a few problems which I would expect from a used car, but I want to know if the problems are in any way related. The car idle surges, from 500 rpm to 1300 rpm.The car has a liquid coming out of the exhaust and the car seems to be running rich because i smell gas when it idles. The engine seems to have bad lifter tick or knock. There is a hissing noise coming from the intake manifold.I think its near the black sensor near the biss screw.The cars gas pedal gets stuck sometimes. The clutch pedal stays stuck down from time to time, it's kind of spongy. The car has prothane motormounts and a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch. The person told me that the throwout bearing was bad so it doesn't want to go into gears from time to time. Can someone help me?

Someone sold you a Lemon. NO wait, a LIME! is there smoke coming out of your exhaust, if so, what color?

come on. yeah white/gray smoke when the a/c is on.

you should take it to a shop and get it inspected. if its throwin grey smoke out the exhaust that cant be to good. its not a light bluish color is it? that tickin sound u heard, pop ur hood and try to tell where its coming from and let us know.

The ticking noise is coming from under the valve cover.No ticking in timing belt area.Im taking it to get the cel checked out.The main thing is I have a bad case of idle surge.The clutch issue is a bit scary though.

yes you should take your car in to inspect your clutch. my clutch is stuck to the floor right now and i cant drive my car. im taking it in monday morning. b4 i replaced my clutch i had a ticking noise and it sounded like it was coming from that same area, my mechanic told me that it was the throwout bearing was worn out. u probably need a new clutch, jus take it in and see what they say
