1996 headlights with 1998 Bumper

Hey guys, i have a 1996 eclipse, and as we all know the 1997-1999 is the much better look. I know the easy thing to do it to just swap headlights and be done, but i want to be different, i fitting my 1996 headlights to the 1998 bumper, and wanted to see if anybody else has done this, without it being a hack-job.. i already have way to many hours in with my plastic welder and a file getting these to where i want them, just wanted to see if anybody else has done this in a professional manger and if they have any pictures. Thanks

It can't be done with out cutting the bumper to "fit" the 95-96 style headlights.

i know that you have to cut the bumper, as i said i has started working on my conversion, i just wanted to see any pictures of other peoples conversion, if they cut there bumpers. thanks
