420A 1996 Eclipse RS upgrades?

I'm new the DSM world and I just bought a 1996 eclipse rs. i was wondering if this base model can be upgraded as far as like engine swaps from a gst car and so on. any info would help. if you can point me in the direction of books or videos that help and anyone with experience in doing these type of upgrades / customizations.

To be totally honest, keep the rs as your daily driver and start looking for a gst or a gsx. It's costs more money to swap than it is to find a turbo model. Just my .02 though.

Thats what I would do too man, keep the rs and look around for a gst or gsx. I used to own a 96 rs and it was my baby, i regret selling it, now i have a gst and like it but it will be a while before i grow the same love for it as my rs, point is if you find a trubo model down the line keep your rs

i understand what u guys are saying but i already have a daily driver and my buddy wanted to get rid of the car ive always wanted one and i want to turn it into a show car / but also have some fun with it. So do you guys know if the swap is possible and where i can find info on it and other mods? Thanks again.
