Ok so I've read numerous posts about installing a aftermarket keyless remote. I followed the instructions ground pin 1 to 4 ect. But when I turn my key to acc my doors don't unlock then lock to signal its in programming mode. I contacted the guy I bought the ebay guy I bought it from and he said that the 95s aren't programable with remotes. Is this true? If not then can someone post pictures and details of how to do it. Thanks guys

Does the Relay still there on one side of the brain box as well?.

There are several things that can cause the alarm not to work.

If you have or had an aftermarket alarm, for sure the alarm was wired to disable the factory alarm, you have to check all the wiring from the aftermarket alarm and disconnect everything, (remove the complete aftermarket alarm), If it doesn't work, then check every single sensor, there are 3 sensors, one on each door (Key Cylinder Sensor), and one on the rear hatch (latch), you have to check and see if the all working good and they all connected well.

But first, you have to see if the Relay (one side of the brain box) is working.

I would not state that as a fact. My current GSX has a viper alarm system and the stock system as well. Both are still active even though I have no key fob for the stock system, I can activate it by manually locking the door before closing it or using the key to lock it from outside. I once had both on and set them both off at the same time. I killed the aftermarket one with the key fob but could not figure out how to shut off the factory one without disconnecting the battery since I have no key fob.

On a side note, my first GSX I was able to take to the dealer and they confirmed it had keyless entry, and for 1 hour labor ($90) plus cost of key fob ($30) they set it up. I later learned if you buy the key fob you can sync them yourself but I do not now how it is done.

Your statement is right, But 80% if not 90% of the time, when installing an aftermarket alarm, they will wire it to disable the factory alarm, That's why they install the aftermarket alarm, There are just a few that has the aftermarket and factory alarm at the same time, that's why is more common for the OP to have the alarm disabled.

You can order the control from a Dealer, It will cost around 75$ to 100$ (depends on the area) which you can buy them on Ebay for 15$ or 25$, You can program the remote making a jump on the OBD connector.

You can disable the factory alarm using just the key, even if you don't have the control remote, Just use the key to unlock the door or just turning the car to the ON position using the key, Doing this you will disable the factory alarm.

I programed my own remote that I bought from the dealer and was pissed off when I saw the same remote on Ebay for less of the half price that I paid and even worst when I found really good feed back of the Ebay controls here in the community.

I have my viper alarm and my factory alarm as well, When I am close of the car or I am where I can see it, I use my factory alarm, But when I have to be away from the car I always use my viper which it will rise up the windows If I forget to close them up.

(Factory and Aftermarket Alarms at the same time are rare).

Edit,

Here are some good info on how to Program the Keyless.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I actually dont have a security light that comes on when I turn my car off? weird. And ive done what was said (grounding and everything) in the guides. It doesnt work, never has. So what Im concluding is that the guy before me wired in the current system. I might check relays to see if the one for the stock system is still in there. Anyone have a picture of what one it exactly is? I also have a toggle switch on my drivers side by the clutch pedal that does something with the alarm system. Im guessing thats aftermarket to -.- Looks like ill be busy over break trying to figure this out.
