1995 gsx shell question

I have a 1997 gst eclipse and i just found a really good deal on a 1995 gsx roller and i want to put my motor into it. my question is what all needs to be done to wire my motor into the 1995 shell? doese anyone have the swap wiring diagram for the 1995 to 1997 cas?

Just match the wire colors up to the new pigtail. As for the firing order, I believe it was 95-96 cas that inverts it.

I matched the colors up, soldered them and ran it. I didn't have to do anything with the coilpacks.

If you wire it in the same AND switch over your ECU you should be just fine. Not 100% on your CAS wire though. I have no idea if it is the same or will reach/be long enough.

IF you want, you could just swap the ECU and wire harness! Then you wouldnt have to worry about it! Just saying.. But 97GST_spyder is right, I believe the 2ga is the one that inverts the CAS signal, so the firing order is opposite.

i did a 96 engine swap into my 98. I swapped the ECU and the harness so everything was the same. Definitely a lot easier IMO then trying to match wire colors.

I just put a 97^ cas in my 96 sypder.

All you need to do is wire in the 97 cas conector the cas colors match.
And you will need the 97 ecu.
