Check engine code on 1995 Eagle Talon P0422 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). What should I do next?
 
Check the catalytic converter for being plugged and check the rear O2 sensor for proper operation.
 
A converter thats missing the catalyst inside (punched out) or even an air leak in your exhaust can flag that code.
 
The light went out after a gas fill up. I was near empty and went to Costco for a fill and after 5 miles the light went out. Haven't came on since?
