1993 mirage partially evo 1 converted

I have my 93 mirage its right hand drive evo 1 converted and was wondering if anyone knew of any overhaul kits produced that would work. my motor is not blown but i just wanna get her rebuilt as i sorta restore it over the winter.. any info would be great..

Did you put in a Turbo 4g63 if so is it 6 or 7 bolt

Need more information on engine code, and number of bolts on flywheel etc.

Anyways your gonna wanna look at getting a fel-pro, cometic, or OEM engine gasket set, waterpump, oil pump, timing belt set, and possibly piston rings and bearings.

I would also suggest a set of ARP head studs, and new hardware (bolts nuts washers) where applicable. Do some shopping around on the various vendors and see what you think you need.

its the evo 1 7 bolt 4g63t.. I was wondering if anywhere sold a complete gasket kit? im looking for light internal mods as well on a budget side.. like evo 9 pistons and like big 1g rods or something?! im running a dual ball bearing t3 50 trim turbo precision brand and 680cc injectors no nothing huge

Your looking at a grand if you go on the cheap fix what you got. Go oem gaskets npr pistons and call it a day.

You can look at the other vendors. But google, and this will help you out.

I can't where you to get to go to get the 100% best deal, the vendors change prices, new ones come and old ones go, and I would say if you have good compression then there is no need to upgrade your internals.

Your going to run into more effort than its worth to run 6-bolt rods on a 7-bolt crank. Just go with OEM evo IX or X pistons on Evo rods. The evo 8/9 rods will work fine on a 7 bolt crank. And DSM Graveyard has proven the evo X pistons can be used in a 4g63. The even have valve reliefes on them the correct way so you don't need to flip em.

I would say expect to spend at least 1000$ on parts, another 300-500$ on machine work, and another 50-150$ on tranny fluid, engine oil, antifreeze, etc.

i own a mirage 99' and I plan to convert it AWD 4g63."evo 4" just buying the jdm evo5 front clip plus all drive train/ rhd too.

hopefully i dont get overwhelmed with 2 builds.

Nice I built one as well, did you do all the work yourself? The motor is just a 7 bolt so everything will bolt on from one. If you have any questions just pm me and I can see if I can help out.
