I recently picked up a 1993 eagle talon and its hard to start which really isn't all that much a concern of mine but while its running the ecu will click and the car will shut off and turn back on again. This especially will happen when the ecu is bumped. And idea what it could be or what I could look for? thanks!

I will definitely crack it open. The car in general is great shape and the problem occurs really randomly. At idle, Driving, cold start, hot starts etc. But will definitely do some searching when I get home. Thanks!

I ended up sending it out to ecm tuning to give it a once over. It was 50$ so felt it was worth it for piece of mind :thumb: will post if they find anything

I have a 99 GS automatic and it kinda does the same. It turns off while im driving, if I reduce speed, at startup, cornering, etc. I have already changed a couple sensors and the fuel pump, but it stills the same. My dad and I took out the ecu that is under the center console of the dash, but it all seemed ok, and the motherboard was covered in some sort of slime that protects it all. I dont know what else to do, or if I should take the risk and buy a new ecu and hope for the problem to be resolved.
