Chipped ecu?

So i bought my 95 tsi a few weeks ago and it has launch control. The kid told me the ecu is chipped so does that mean its chipped for link? Is there any other ecu mod for launch control? Let me know thanks guys

Yea, there used to be Keydiver Chips or DSMchips. That's what I have in my 1g and I really like it. It's almost like link but its not RE-programmable.

Yea oyu are definatly chipped and have an eprom. since you have no clue what map you have or how good it is, I'd send it to my1gdsm here on the forums and have im do a new custom chip for oyur car. then oyu have th epeac eof mind of knowing exactly what you have. since oyu already have the chipped eprom, it won't cost you a whole lot.
