On Thanksgiving day I decided to finally pull the plug on most everything that I am wanting to buy and do this winter. Most everything came in within a couple days. Some stuff was a made to order so it takes some time, but I'll post pictures as stuff comes in. Many many thanks goes out to, Marty @1990TSIAWDTALON, Nick @Vegas Smith and Tim @twicks69 for answering any and all questions that I had. No matter how silly some may seemed, and for helping me on what they think may be best for what I am wanting.

My summit order...

I managed to get out to the garage for a short while. So I pulled the plastics covering the wires that run from the battery to upfront. I could have left this alone, but I want to change it up a little as you will see, I also wanted to put lugs with soder on instead of the crimp style that is currently on there.

This is why I am switching to lugs, with a little bit of force I am able to pull the connectors off the wire.

Those should work, they are nice and big. :thumb:
This is what we use and then we solder and heat shrink tube the ends.

Any pics of the engine fuse box wiring in the bay.
I haven't changed any of the fuse box wiring from stock other then what I have posted, I believe around post #43. But I am planning on moving it to inside the cabin. If not just rewiring everything, as you will see a few connectors need replaced.

There is a few plugs that I need to replace. Because they were broke from the start.

1st- CAS, being held in place with a wire wrapped around the plug.

2nd - PTU? Was glued in I had to zip tie it.

3rd - TPS plug, it too was glued in.

There is a few I am not sure if I have to keep any or all of them. I plan to run a new coolant sensor into the back of the thermostat housing. Which will eliminate the stock location on the radiator. I am running an aftermarket aluminum radiator. So my question is do I even need any of these? Three of them attach directly into the thermostat housing.

The big plug has never been hooked up since I bought the car so I know I don't need that one.

So with what I did today and marked everything, I want to make sure I got all the plugs marked that I need to. This is a street legal car, without all the creature comforts for the most part.

For under the hood, I have marked...

CAS
ISC
Injectors x 4
Knock sensor
Coil pack (idk it's proper name for plug)
PTU
Oil pressure
Alternator
Horn x 2
Headlights x 2
Running lights x 2
Side marker x 2
Wiper motor

I didn't include the reverse switch, it wasn't on the main harness, from what I see.
What am I missing?

You/we/I can probably look in the photos and see what I am missing, although I may not know the names of some of them.

As I was following the wires around, I noticed that the wires that come through the firewall on the passenger side, lead all the way around the front then back into the driver side frame hole that looks like it leads to inside the car for the fuse block under the driver side dash. Is this correct?

If so I might bite the bullet and just re-wire everything. Because some of these plugs have to be rewired and if I have to pull the wires that are on the driver side I might as well do the whole damn car. Even though that is not what I want to do right now. What does everyone else think?

where did you find the red battery positive bushing on the firewall im looking to do something like that moving battery into the trunk.

I haven't touched any of the wiring or car since Sunday. But I have been thinking about what I am gonna do as for the wiring. I see now where it connects which is at the fuse box, if I am not mistaken. Not sure what I was thinking. So the wires that run in front of the car comes up connects at the fuse box but I still have to pull it because I don't like how it is routed. So I am still leaning to rewiring the whole damn car. Really looking over all my options. If anyone as any advice or opinions, it is appreciated. I don't believe it will be to difficult to run all new wires from the ecu to where it all goes, just getting the right relays, fuses, and wire lengths will be most important. I have been looking at alot of the painless performance stuff.

Also if anyone has any links to detailed threads that people have done this, will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Post #63 is your boost control solenoid. This can be used to control boost pressure with an electronic controller via ECMLink. I clipped the plug on mine and then ran the wires back into the loom in case I want to use it at a later date.
