1991-1994 coilpack on 1990

I've been told you can't swap the two I'm just curious as to why? Do they fire off in a different order or something?

The 1990 is a 4-pin connector and the 1991+ is a 3-pin connector. It isn't a plug-and-play swap but it certainly could be made to work if necessary.

Good to know bro. I bought one off a guy here and he claimed it was a 90. Just wanted a back up plan if it turned out not to Be. Thanks bro

What I did was just swap the harness over taking off all the 6mm nuts from the coil.
