was wondering how i can put a coilpack from a 91 awd talon in a 90 awd talon

You will have to take the coil packs from the 91 and transfer them on your 90 coil pack plate and use that wiring .

so i cant just rewire the plug to be able to just plug in the 91 coil cause i dont have the 90 coil pack thats the problem

I really would just like to switch it over its alot easier to find a newer coil if it goes bad i have like 3 newer ones but a 90 is harder to find

also i just dont have the money right now to buy one LOL

The 90 coil pack assembly had in addition to the coils the driver circuit for the tach pulse. That's what the fourth pin on the connector is for.

If you want the tach in the gauge cluster to function you'll need that part and perhaps the noise filter if you piecing the car back from junk.

I do have the one wire thing that goes on the back of the intake on the 90 so can i just replace the plug on the 90 harness with a newer one to run a coil pack from a 91 and still have my tach work that is my question i want everything to work but want to use a 91 coil pack what do i have to do to make that happen
