1990 Plymouth Laser

Cleaning out my Mom’s Garage. I have a 1990 Plymouth Laser that doesn’t run. A local mechanic told me that because it sat unused in the garage he’d need to replace the gas tank/fuel pump. He couldnt find a replacement for the gas tank and sort of gave up. Im sure there are lots of other things you’d have to do to get it running. I’m not sure how much I should try to sell it for? It has 55K miles on it. It’s in pretty great shape condition wise having been garaged all these years.

Post some pics. Is it turbo? A rust free 90 is a rare thing in the northeast so it could be worth some money. However, early Lasers aren't as valuable as some other models. For example, last year I saw a very clean, 60k mile turbo Laser for sale in NJ for $7k. It was available for a while and likely sold for less.

Wow! Good looking car. Wish I was closer. These have some hard to find parts. However, it's automatic and not running so it's tough to appraise. I'd start at $5k and see where it goes. Maybe someone else will chime in with their opinion. Good luck with your sale.
