1990 nlts wire install

I have a 90 gsx I'm tring figure out how ton install the nlts wire
Does anyone have some pictures or illustrations in how to wire this up

That all depends, do you have cruise control? and if you do, do you want to keep it?

No chip, I have dsmlink V3

Cut the switch for cruise control, wire one of the wires to chassis ground, then wire the other one to the ECU input that dsmlink wants for NLTS. I forget the pin #. Thats what I did on my 90. I just used normal wire I had laying around the garage.

basicly I just cut the green wire the black one stays the way it is or do I ground the black one to chassi ground ?

I dont think it matters which wire you ground. All the switch is, is an "interruptor", when the pedal is pushed, the switch is closed so it grounds the ecu.

When youre done, adjust the switch so that you don't accidentally trip off the NLTS by lightly pushing on the pedal. Some people rest their foot on the pedal when getting ready to shift, and if you ground it too early, it will mess with your NLTS.

You can datalog ClutchSW in V3 so you know if its working. Also, NLTS doesnt work unless TPS is above 45% or something like that.....

Make sure you check the box use starter switch for clutch wire(invert signal) since you have a 90
