Well, doing my home work in the past for the turbo saturn i found a evo8 fuel pump is the same part number for the saturn pump. I'm talking pump not assembly or sending unit.

So when it came to installing a walbro in my buddies evo8 we found it had a walbro already in it. So he gave me the new pump and installed it into the turbo saturn.

So what i'm getting at is since this pump has less than 3k miles on it. Is there any chance it's the same part number also for a 1990 eclipse gsx? I'm not betting anyone would know for sure but, who knows. So while i'm searching for an answer i thought i'd ask also.

If it will work then i figure thats one less part to buy for the gsx since i alreadg have 550cc injectors it's a matter of a dsm link and tuning aside from the bolt ons in the future. i'd love to spend some time getting familiar with the tuning on the gsx before adding other mods. I'm not thinking it will be that far off from tuning other stand alones i've done.

Thanks for any help in advance.

GSS341 is a Walbro 255 PN for 1G AWD

1G FWD, 2G FWD & AWD and Evo VIII/IX use GSS342

I will see if I can figure out the difference, but it doesn't seem to look like you can use it in your car.

ahhh. Gotcha. Thanks. I didnt get to digging into it tonight. I was busy stripping the turbo saturn down to part out and ship these parts.

Thanks for the info. Thank you very much!

bummer, guess i'll remove the fuel pump from the saturn after all and sell it anyway and ship it out now. I'll just use that money to get the right pump then. Thanks again.
