Update on the talon:

I've started the wiring routing process. After laying it all out it doesn't seem to be too difficult. It's definitely a slow process. I also got around to deleting my power steering. I'm going to have to find a better way to loop the lines but I'll get to that once I pull the engine. Here's some pictures.

Here's my new lab

Here's where I'll be routing a majority of the engine harness.

Some more weight reduction.

If I Pulled my Harness again and did it over I would just add in one thing

I'd Just Run it all threw the Stock place in the Firewall it will be much easier in the End Trust me.

Looking good though you are on the right track. :thumb:

I ran mine through my fire wall I cut a hole and ran the wires through there but I like the connector better maybe next go time.

Is this the milspec harness connector? I would love to do that also. I was researching something's similar but the cost was just short of an arm and a leg. Lol Thanks for stopping by! Once I get all done I'm pretty sure I'll be contacting you for a tune! ;)

Subscribing. This is interesting.

Thanks for the subscribe!

Got some more work done on the talon this weekend. Dropped the tranny. Also got most of the wires ready to cut in order to have the appropriate length. I also labeled the fuse harness and tore down most of the loom. I can see the fuse harness being more tricky just because I'm going to have to lengthen pretty much all the wires. Here's some
Pictures.

This thing is almost completely stripped down minus the engine and suspension!

Got some work done with the talon. I got some of the looming started and I'd have to say it's coming out pretty nicely. Out of the entire harness job this definitely has to be the trickiest part. Trying to find ways that the harness can all go back together nice and neat.

Heres an update guys. I decided to get it running just because I miss it. Everything is explained in the video below. Should be picking this thing back up soon.

Thanks for the video. Looks like you did other things this summer, like me. Right now I'm going to go run the old gas out of my car!
Would be nice to see some video looking around at your relocated battery, from different angles, and a few comments about it.

Sure. Once I get it all buttoned up I'll post a video of how I have it ran. I know for sure that its not the textbook way to run a battery, but it does the job for now. I do have a buddy that runs the JMF small battery kit and I really like how that looks inside the engine bay. Plus you wont run into problems when trying to pass tech at a track.

Been working on the Talon on the weekends. Trying to work out some of the bugs. I need to figure out why my brake pedal is so soft. Probably just needs to be bled out. I also am in the process of putting my interior back in. I was contemplating putting the dash back in but I decided I liked the factory dash too much to toss it. So I stripped it and have a cool idea I'm gonna try this weekend.

I also ended up taking two separate trips to two different junkyards and found some good stuff. First trip I ended up finding a non turbo 4G63 shortblock complete that looked to be in good overall condition. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a spare block so I grabbed it. The next trip I ended up finding a 1990 GSX that was still pretty intact. I ended up taking the Shortblock and transmission. Here are 2 videos of the parts I grabbed.

Loving this build man. Im glad to see you're continuing the thread after 7 pages of hard work!

Thank you! Much appreciated.

Got a little more done today. I decided to try out an idea. Not completely sold on it yet. I'm torn between keeping the dash the way it is now and just deleting it all together. What do you guys think? I'd love some opinions.
