1990 awd turbo transmission

i have a blown transmission, the mechanic wants 1350 to fix it, he said that most of the gears are messed up completely. If i was to get the stage 1 rebuild, would that completely fix my blown tranny. thanks, i just want to be sure

Stage 1 from who?
I say my tre trans that needs 4th gear and a bell housing.Just buy 4th gear,syncros and use your bell housing.

i was thinking about shep, but i am probly going to just buy a brand new one from them thanks though
