I was wondering if the 18g is a complete bolt on with the Turbo itself or does it need an install kit or lines or anything else? Also, I know that it comes in TD05 turbine housing, but does it come in TD06H? and if so, what is the difference in performance.

direct bolt on.

Td06 will have a little slower spool but more top end then an 18g in a Td05 housing. I think that you can only use a Td06 housing with an external wastegate. Using an internal gate has been done before but I think for the most part, external is used.

I have an 18G with a TD06 comp housing and an internal gate, but the wastegate actuator had to be custom fit. It's not that hard to do, and it works flawlessly, but you will need to find a wastegate actuator that fits (or close to it) and then maybe "massage" it a little to make it work.

As far as performance, I had upgraded to the 18G from a Big16G and noticed a little better pull, with practically no difference in spool. And I'm now getting less knock, so it must be a little more efficient, which is not surprising since the Big16G is known to be somewhat inefficient.
