18g internal wastegate Q.

Hey my friend has a honda with an 18g turbo and told me that the diaphram is blown out on it. So he needs to get a new wastegate and he was wondering if a 16g wastegate is the same thing and if he can use it? Or will he have to get a 18g specific WG

Sorry i dont really now that much about the Mitsu turbos anymore

That would be the case only if its a Mitsu 18g

A Greddy 18g would use a totally different style.
