17x8.5 stealth wheels on 90 Gst

Just bought a 90 gst and came with 17"stealth wheels. THe flat tires on it are 225/45/17 and was curios to whether or not 245's will fit, which is want they are meant to have on them. the front ones have some air in them and they stick out a little from the fenders, so i dont know.

my car has the 3000gt wheels on it that are 16x8. when i bought it the guy swapped the wheels off his 3000gt and the tires were too wide in the front and rubbed on the struts. i dont remember what size they were but i guess the stock size for that car. now i have 205/55/r16 and they dont rub.

i dont know if that helps but id make sure they dont rub in the front.

my tires are pretty wide, but clear the front strut by about a finger width (so no contact)

I'm running 17x8's with 235/45's. I will say though, the difference in traction between these and the 205's i had previously is enourmous.
