Just thought I'd post this up for those looking to get a pretty wide wheel on their DSM for super cheap. I got a set of 1g Stealth twin turbo wheels off a local and I was in luck because they had some real nice sticky street tires with a 200 tread wear rating. They were just missing most the tread.
Anyway, they're pretty awesome. I didn't need any spacers, but be prepared to grind a decent amount of that lip off the rear trailing arm. If you are able to adjust your camber and toe easily (aka not a ton of rust), then you'll have an easier time than I did. Mine is still bone stock suspension with bad rear camber even at factory ride height. So I had to do a bit more grinding but man do these wheels hold the road! I believe the size is 17X8.5 46mm offset and the tire size is 245/45/r17. I do plan to clean them up and paint them black however. If only it would ever stop raining....
I just thought I'd post this info up because there's not a whole lot of people going this route.
