im thinking of getting some 5zigen fn0r1's 17x8 +25 offset? I wanted the +25 to get some concave. I plan on doing coilovers so just wondering if i should go with +25 or +35. any pics of a +25?

You will have to run some camber to get them to tuck under some because they will stick out. And you won't be able to run a really beefy tire either. If neither of those bother you then go for it. If you don't have the coilovers yet though I would say get them first because it will just look weird with that offset of wheel on stock suspension

The best option is +40. Then you can run 245/40/17 and only have to roll the lips in the rear.

I run a 17x7 with a +42 and 245/40 r17 with very minimal rub. If i rolled the lips it wouldnt rub.

When you say roll, you mean the rears right? Because on the front fender the way it looks how do you guys go about rolling it?

Yes. Run your fingers along the inside edge of the rear fenders. The blood now dripping from your hand will indicate what we're telling you to roll.

ROFL that lip is pretty brutal

I guess you could say I had the front pulled/rolled. There was no lip but I had it rolled/pulled out some more to give me more clearance. I rubbed all the time with 18x8 +35 and just took it to a shop and they fixed it for 40 bucks

That was what I thought. Yeah, +25s work, but limit the treadwidth. +40 is how you get a 245/40/17 to fit without having too much rear camber.

Well done, Toby. You succeeded in stopping yourself from making rude comments about the idiotic "stretched-tire" look that seems to be the latest version of fuzzy dice. Excellent job, man. No snide comments about 235s on a 9"-wide wheel. None. Nada. You are love and group hugs incarnate today.

damned unfreezing process

Koni's on GC's with stock Evo 9 Enkie's and 245/40's. Stock fenders and no problems.

17x8 +38 offset, 255/40/17 tire. Only slight rub from the rears on a big dip. Then again the car isn't much lower than factory.
