Got some pictures of my wheels and tires. The wheel is 17x8, +35. Keep in mind my suspension is 100% stock and the camber is set straight up.
First tires I tried were the G-force KDW, 235/40/17.
As you can see, theres a lot of wasted space on the inside. After seeing that, I knew I needed to go wider.
And obviously, they stick out quit a bit.
Here's the new tires, Azenis RT-615, 245/45/17. I really wanted 245/40/17 because they are almost exactly the same diameter as stock, but the RT-615 isn't made in that size (nor are many other tires). Unfortunately, the 245/45/17 is about 3/4" taller diameter which I really didn't want, but we'll see how it works.
I don't think I'm going to be able to lower much...if at all.
At least the inside fits nicely
Neither tire rubs on the fender well or anything at full crank, but I didn't test drive on them. If I did I wouldn't be able to return them
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to stick with this size or try to find a 245/40 I like. I think I might have to go with coilovers instead of shocks/springs so that I can keep stock ride height. Or is there a quality spring out there that's stiff and doesn't lower the car? I think if I did that, then a little negative camber would keep me from rubbing on the fender. I'll probably be rolling the fenders too if it will even make a difference!

fortunately, the 245/40/17s are shorter, giving a bit more clearance
