I had lots of fun today so many crazy cars I love this event.Too bad My motor decided it didn't want my #2 rod any more so it chucked it and is looking for a new one yesterday at the Test and Tune

So glad to see that you finnaly got to run the RWD car down the track

You need to make better classes for awd cars if you want people to show up with awd cars.The weight restriction and ,turbo sizing ,intercooler systems is bullshit in every class for a AWD car [/B]

Heard our local Honda guys, SpeedFactory (Kevin Kempf), took out Tony Palo with a holeshot win!

Thanks to everyone who hung out with me and the dsm crowd at MIR. Got some great hospitality from Shawn and Sandra and got some good insight from Ricky, Lucas, Bob, Matt, the other Russ and some other great peoples. Felt like everyone had tons of info and tricks to share, i just needed a miracle (aka-seat time on the new set up) to get a decent sixty foot.
I hope i can do a test and tune soon, car ran great by Sunday and got a new best mph- 127!

You'll see in Lucas' video that I did what people call a "bad job of crashing". It was ugly, but I was fortunate to save it. I got a lot of praise for my stunt driving skills, praise that I'd rather not be getting!

The race between SpeedFactory and Tony was a classic! 8.75 to a losing 8.58!

I was there and as always turned out to be a great event. I haven't seen so many RX-3s and rotary motors at one time. That team from Puerto Rico sure know how to build rotarys. Hopefully I can be there next year running.

From the looks of it, I came close to both of the walls. We purposely let the other car go ahead of us, because we didn't know what was going to happen. I made a few mistakes as a driver, and the rest of it just snowballed. My car was the only one on the property that had VHT on the SIDES of my tires instead of UNDER them.

So i was at Auto Fab in Jessup today and a guy was talking about Imp vs. Dom race this weekend at MIR and I told him that i raced at the event. He then asked if i saw the car that went up on it's right 2 wheels, and then it's left two wheels. I told him that it was the crew that i was hanging out with the whole weekend and I said, yeah that was Shawn Brown. Linda the front desk lady at auto fab dropper her jaw and said, that was Shawn, I know him . Your the talk of the town here, everyone was really happy to hear you kept the car between the jersey wall barriers.

i just hope they drop the AWD cars down to 2800 pounds or there will be no sense for me to go next year, 3200 i think is just a little to much on the street fighter AWD cars .
