DSM Legend Brent Rau will be in the house at WCF this year! He won't be racing, as his car was sold and is now in Australia. With all the talk about WCF all over the nation, Brent said he couldnt pass up a chance to see one of the biggest races in the countty, and has booked a flight from his home state of Minnesota.

Great news!!! Hurricane Sandy will be out of the area by Tuesday of next week, so we will be in the all clear by Wednesday on for WCF!

The whole staff here at MIR is ready for records to go down next weekend at the 17th annual World Cup Finals on November 2-4! So be ready!!!

Great news from MIR! The storm has passed by us here at the track. Our power is on and businesses in the area including hotels all have power as well. Also all bridges and roads to the track are open.

We have minor clean-up to do at MIR with moving blown over trash barrels back into place, blowing off leaves, and a couple sponsor signs to put back up. We are very fortunate that the facility did not sustain any substantial damage.

We have our staff now working to prepare the track for this weekend's 17th annual World Cup Finals, and we have a great weather forecast for the event with sunny skies and temperatures near 60 degrees.

So plan now to attend, and we look forward to seeing everyone this weekend at the World Cup Finals for the biggest event of the season!

Yea its kinda late but a friend is coming with me and he has to work Saturday till noon so can't do much about that. We'll miss the qualifying but be there for the eliminations and bikini contest I'll be sure to check you out!

I love going to this event and seeing some crazy azz cars.Got to see a car turn on its roof ,3 nitrous explosions back to back in the same lane .
Also did anyone see the trailer that had blew the side out .From what I heard they had left a nitrous bottle on the heater and the tank exploded

The car on the roof was not funny btw glad he was ok ,he slid for ever.

Update for those DSMers, Devin Schultz Red Demon Boostin Performance 2G AWD qualified for tomorrows main event X275 vs Hot Rod category with 8.73 @ 167 MPH @35psi @ 3rd qualification round and @ the 4th qualification round dead hooked and broke the rear end. Devin and Boostin Performance tech Koza and Rick are putting a rear end in tonight, and they'll be ready for the first round of eliminations tomorrow... Good luck guys !!!
