2G 16in front 18in rear setup?

Hey FWD Eclipse owners I’ve been thinking about putting 16x8 rims in the front with 245/55/16 and 18x9 with 245/40/18 in the rear I was wondering if anyone has done this and if I should even do it?

If anyone has done it, what have you noticed from just running 16s or 18s all around? Does it change the drivability/the ability to daily drive? Sorry if I’m not making sense or if this is just common sense, I suppose this is something like a drag pack but less aggressive?

Again I am not sure I am just trying to reduce wheel spin while still looking good. I’ve also included some pictures of my car with stock 16’s and stock tires and 18’s with 225/40 on a 2 in drop and -3 degree of camber.

I not sure I understand this or what you're goal is by doing this. Anyway, if the tire outside diameter is the same the tire will spin the same regardless of rim or tire proflie size. In my opinion this is a waste of time for reducing tire spin. Larger diameter tires or driving slower is the best way I know of to reduce tire spin.

If you mean spin, as in losing traction, get a LSD or AWD.

I am already planning on getting an lsd I just wanted more grip off the line, and sorry I meant wheel spin

They’re still going to spin unless you drive around with a welded diff like me LSD can be hard to find

FWD guys do it all the time, if you want traction off the line get a set of proper slicks for the front:

That's not my car, it's a friends from about 10 years ago, so I don't really know other than 15 or 16 up front, 18 in the rear.
